The media has gone into complete meltdown mode after the president allegedly called Haiti a “shithole country.” Despite the fact that there is no recording of president Trump saying this, and the fact that he has denied saying it, the fact that Democrat senator Dick Durbin said it’s true is more than enough verification for the leftwing media to go into a complete frenzy, and rant and rave about racism while saying shithole 7 million times on live national TV. Only problem? The other people in the room say it never happened.
If you’re unaware of the pathetic non-stop effort to remove president Trump from office, this is starting to look like yet another coordinated attack from leftwing politicians and the corrupt mainstream media. The left has been salivating, waiting for some excuse to “confirm” that president Trump is a “racist” … they hadn’t had any evidence of this before, but now since he called a country which contains black people a ‘shithole’, they’re off and running with their narrative. Let’s put aside the fact that Haiti is full of crime, poverty and corruption at the highest level (no help from the Clinton Foundation) and could certainly be described by anyone with eyes as a shithole… the majority of people who were in the room are saying it was never said. So who do we believe? The republicans who are claiming this never happened, or the democrats who not only have been hellbent on taking this administration down, but they are relying on their “source” Dick Durbin, who has a history of lying about private white house meetings.
This via The Daily Wire:
Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) accused President Donald Trump on Friday of referring to African countries as “s***holes” during a meeting that they both attended on Thursday.
Durbin told reporters that what Trump said was “hate-filled, vile and racist,” adding that “the most disheartening thing to me is my belief that that was the first time words that hateful had been spoken in the Oval Office of the White House.”
There’s just one problem with Durbin’s claims: He has a history of making up statements from private White House meetings.
In 2013, Politico Reported:
“In a ‘negotiation’ meeting with the president, one GOP House Leader told [President Barack Obama]: ‘I cannot even stand to look at you,’” Durbin wrote in a post on his Facebook page over the weekend.
However, both the White House and the House speaker’s office denied Durbin’s account of events.
Asked about the post in the White House daily briefing, press secretary Jay Carney said he checked with a participant of the meeting in question.
“I looked into this and spoke with somebody who was in that meeting and it did not happen,” Carney said.
According to Senator David Perdue, who was in the meeting, the word “shithole” was never used.
Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” Sen. David Perdue (GA) who was in the immigration policy meeting with a bipartisan group of lawmakers when President Donald Trump allegedly used the word “shithole” to refer to Haiti, and El Salvador and African nations, said Trump did not make that comment.
Perdue said, “The gross misrepresentation was that language was used in there that was not used and also that the tone of that meeting was not contributory and not constructive.”
He added, “I’m telling you he did not use that word, George. And I’m telling you it’s a gross misrepresentation. How many times do you want me to say that?”
At this point, you have to choose who to believe. Keep in mind, President Trump typically doesn’t back down or apologize when he makes comments that are deemed politically incorrect. You have a unreliable Democrat who claims he said it, and a room full of people who claim he didn’t. What I see is just another attempt to bring down Trump. It’s just another bogus attack that you can add to the growing list of butthurt attempts to remove trump from office. Let’s recap that list:
Mentally unstable, Fake News, Pleading with the Electoral College to elect someone else, Russian Collusion, Jill Stein’s recount, #MeToo, Trump-Russia Trump-Russia Trump-Russia, more mentally unfit claims, and now… shithole.
