Yesterday morning, Defense Secretary, James “Mad Dog” Mattis released a statement regarding Kim Jong Un that should make every citizen of North Korea collectively shit their pants.

“The United States and our allies have the demonstrated capabilities and unquestionable commitment to defend ourselves from an attack. Kim Jong Un should take heed of the United Nations Security Council’s unified voice, and statements from governments the world over, who agree the DPRK [Democratic People’s Republic of Korea] poses a threat to global security and stability. The DPRK must choose to stop isolating itself and stand down its pursuit of nuclear weapons. The DPRK should cease any consideration of actions that would lead to the end of its regime and the destruction of its people.”

The thing that separates Mad Dog’s comments from Trump’s “fire and fury” comments, is that while sometimes it’s hard to tell when Trump is saying something genuine rather than just shitposting, James Mattis is not known to kid around. That’s a bad mix for Kim Jong Un, who apparently wants to go down in a blaze of nuclear conflagration. North Korea is a nuisance. They’re like that annoying kid at the playground who thinks he’s tough- walks around talking a bunch of trash, throwing fake punches to make you flinch but never making actual contact. Everyone knows he’s a little bitch but nobody wants to be the one to kick his ass because it would be kind of embarrassing. That’s Kim Jong Un. A fat little wannabe tough guy. Last week he launched an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile straight up in the air, just to prove they had the capacity to reach U.S. soil. That was Kim Jongs fake punch to James Mattis, but the Mad dog didn’t flinch.

I’m not advocating nuclear war, but it sure would be nice to see Kim Jong Un removed from power. He’s been talking a lot of trash,  making empty threats and getting away with it for far too long. The only reason the country hasn’t been leveled yet is because they have nukes of their own. Thanks to Bill Clinton. Clinton, when he was in office struck a deal with incoming North Korean leader, Kim Jong Il, to take its current nuclear reactor offline and stop construction of two other reactors they claimed were for “electricity.” In exchange, the United States would help the country build two light- water nuclear reactors at an estimated cost of $4 billion, and provide them with heavy fuel oil. North Korea would have to surrender spent nuclear fuel once the reactors were built, and submit to international inspections.

Guess what didn’t happen… They didn’t submit to international inspections, nor did they surrender any nuclear fuel, and despite President George W. Bush’s attempts to thwart the foolish deal by cutting off the oil supply in 2002, North Korea has nuclear weapons today. But hey, at least we learned from Clintons mistake. At least we didn’t make an almost identical deal with Iran under the Obama administration. Oh wait. We did make an almost identical deal with Iran under the Obama administration. Almost identical except that instead of 4 billion dollars to North Korea, Obama sent $150 billion to Iran, so long as Iran submits to the same international inspections that North Korea was expected to submit to. Also, Obama instructed the radical Islamic regime in Iran to promise not to develop nuclear weapons for 10 whole years. Obama means business. I bet they even pinky swore. Well guess what… Iran has been caught testing nuclear weapon capability numerous times, and there haven’t been any international inspections.

This is why I’m happy to hear that Trump and Mattis are ready to take care of Kim Jong Un and North Korea. It gets rid of one psychopathic regime with nuclear weapons, so that we have some time to get ready for the next psychopathic regime that’ll be making similar threats in 10 years, thanks to Obama’s shitty Iran deal. We’ll just have to take it one step at a time, luckily we have General Mattis to take action rather than Obama and his gang of delicate snowflakes.
